The Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS), Gujarat, organised a two-day capacity-building programme for auditors of Dairy Cooperative Societies at URICM, Gandhinagar, with a focus on strengthening audit practices and promoting transparent governance.

According to a post shared by RCS Gujarat, the programme covered key areas including Cooperative Laws, ERP/PACS, Government Schemes and modern audit practices.

The training was aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of cooperative auditors and helping them adapt to emerging requirements in the cooperative sector.

The programme also highlighted the role of effective auditing in improving transparency, accountability and governance within cooperative institutions.

The initiative comes amid increasing emphasis on digital systems and technology-driven management in the cooperative sector, with auditors required to understand new platforms and processes alongside statutory provisions.

Sharing the programme, RCS Gujarat highlighted the message: “Empowered Auditors- Transparent Governance – Stronger Cooperatives.”
