GP Parsik Sahakari Bank: Shetye to take over as CEO

A source close to GP Parsik Sahakari Bank was quoted saying Zoroastrian Cooperative Bank Managing Director and CEO Uday A.Shetye would take over as the new CEO of G P Parsik Bank.

While talking to Indian Cooperative on the phone, Uday A.Shetye confirmed the news of his taking over as the CEO said “Yes, this information is true and I will take over the charge soon but I am little a bit busy with some activities and will call you later”.

It bears recall that former CEO Sadanand K.Nayak was earlier given a warm send off on his retirement. The bank is presently without a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Meanwhile, talking to IC Chairman of the bank Ranjit Gopinath Patil has said “Yes, the appointment of the new CEO is underway and it’s too early to offer any comment in this connection. It will take 10-15 days to give concrete shape to the appointment and a decision taken would be published on the website”, he added.

Sources say, Zoroastrian Cooperative Bank has published the advertisement for appointment of the new CEO.

The G P Parsik bank was established on 21st May 1972. It has a business mix of about 5,700 crore. Recently, the bank has extended its operation to Karnataka.
