IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance Company has appointed Tatsuya Fujimoto as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, marking a change in leadership at the general insurer.
Fujimoto, who previously served as Director (Operations), succeeds Subrata Mondal, who had led the company since September 9, 2024. He also served as Senior Executive Director and Chief Risk Officer from November 2024 to June 2025.
Fujimoto brings 28 years of experience with Tokio Marine Group, including 18 years in Japan across marketing, corporate planning and as executive secretary to the Group CEO. He has also worked in the US, Malaysia and India.
IFFCO-TOKIO is a 51:49 joint venture between Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative (IFFCO) and Japan’s Tokio Marine Group.
