RS Sodhi, MD of leading dairy cooperative Amul says despite the corona lock down restrictions Amul has seen a surge in household consumption of dairy products. reports Business Today.

Sodhi says home consumption of milk-based products has increased by 15-20 per cent and demand for cheese has gone as high as 80 percent.

However, Amul has seen an 80 percent reduction in sales of ice-creams.

    PMC Bank…insurance arm of RBI should give an interest- free, 5 year loan to PMC Bank, towards it’ s tevival, and hold all properties of the wadhawans, against which loans had been taken, as mortgage. Five years is a reasonable period within which to liquidate the said properties. The principal deposit amount should remain untouched for at least 3 years, for viability. Depositors should be allowed to capitalise accrued interest, to mitigate hardship
