DC Namsai inaugurates Mabira LAMPCS Micro-Finance Centre

Deputy Commissioner of Namsai, Lobsang Tsering, inaugurated the newly established Office-cum-Micro Finance Centre of Mabira Large Sized Multipurpose Cooperative Society (Mabira LAMPCS) at Mounglang Complex, 2nd Mile, Namsai, on Wednesday.

The centre was inaugurated as part of an Office-cum-Micro Finance Centre inauguration and orientation programme aimed at promoting cooperative development, socio-economic empowerment and collective progress among members and the local community.

Officials from various government departments, representatives of ARCS, NABARD, DAO, ARSLM and DDA, along with officials from the State Bank of India and other financial institutions, attended the programme. Members and delegates of Mabira LAMPCS were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Lobsang Tsering appreciated the initiative and underlined the role of cooperatives in promoting inclusive and sustainable local economic development.
