Cooperative leaders from across the country have extended warm birthday greetings to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, wishing him good health, long life and continued strength in serving the nation and strengthening the cooperative movement.
IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, NUCFDC Chairman Jyotindra Mehta, former IFFCO Managing Director Dr U.S. Awasthi and KRIBHCO Managing Director S.S. Yadav are among the prominent cooperative personalities who have conveyed greetings to Shah on previous birthday occasions.
ICA-AP President Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, NAFED Chairman Jethabhai Ahir and Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman G.H. Amin have also joined the cooperative fraternity in extending their wishes.
The greetings reflect the cooperative sector’s recognition of Shah’s role in establishing a separate Ministry of Cooperation in 2021 and placing the sector at the centre of a renewed national development agenda.
Under the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation), several initiatives have been launched to strengthen cooperative institutions, modernise Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and expand opportunities for farmers and rural communities.
Cooperators have expressed hope that the movement will continue to gain momentum under his leadership.
