The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) conducted a training session for Manndeshi Mahila Sahakari Bank Ltd. at its office premises in BKC, Mumbai, focusing on expanding access to collateral-free credit for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
The session was conducted by Mrs. Rohini Chavan and Kumar Vaibhav, Deputy Managers, CGTMSE, and covered key scheme features, guarantee coverage, operational procedures and a detailed walkthrough of the CGTMSE portal.
The interactive programme also addressed participants’ queries and provided practical guidance on using the credit guarantee mechanism effectively.
The training highlighted the important role of women-led financial institutions in widening formal credit access for women entrepreneurs and MSEs, thereby supporting inclusive economic growth.
CGTMSE said such capacity-building initiatives are aimed at strengthening the capabilities of its Member Lending Institutions and enabling them to better utilise credit guarantee facilities.
The programme also underscored how cooperative and women-focused banking institutions can play a greater role in supporting entrepreneurship and improving financial inclusion among underserved segments.
