CAMPCO thanks Marathe for holding Niti Aayog deliberations

S.R.Satischandra, President of CAMPCO has thanked Satish Marathe, Patron Sahakar Bharati and  Director Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Board for his initiative in organizing a conference on cooperatives at NITI Aayog in Delhi recently.

It bears recall that National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, New Delhi organised a “Conference on Co-operative Sector as a Catalyst for Development” for a select group of Co-operators from the fields of agro-processing, dairy and, fisheries on 20th November, 2018 at its Head Quarters in New Delhi.

The Conference was presided Dr.Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog and the invitees comprised of select co-operators from across the country. CAMPCO, a leading Multi-State Co-operative based at Mangalore was one among the five invitees to make a thematic presentation before the deliberations. It was represented by its President Sri.S.R.Satishchandra and CA Chandrakanth Rao.

CAMPCO presentation centered around its success story in the agro-processing area based on trust and commitment to its grower members and its initiatives in export oriented and value added agro-processing ventures like chocolate, pepper and soon into coconut processing etc.

“This is the first of its kind conference and it is sure to go a long way in developing a framework of development through the medium of Co-operatives on a national basis” Satishchandra said.
