Agriculture Insurance Company of India has entered into a bancassurance partnership with Bihar State Cooperative Bank to strengthen insurance access across rural Bihar, marking another step towards the national vision of “Insurance for All.”
The agreement was signed in Patna in the presence of senior officials including Lalit Kharbanda and Manoj Kumar Singh, along with representatives from both institutions.
The partnership is expected to leverage the extensive grassroots network of Bihar State Cooperative Bank to deliver crop and rural insurance products more effectively to farmers and rural households across the state.
With its deep presence in cooperative credit delivery, the bank will play a crucial role in expanding awareness and accessibility of insurance services in underserved areas.
