The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (APCOB) celebrated Independence Day with patriotic enthusiasm, with employees and senior officials reaffirming their commitment to the cooperative movement and customer service.
The celebrations were led by APCOB Managing Director R.V. Rama Krishna, who paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and the countless freedom fighters whose sacrifices secured India’s independence.
The programme began with speeches by employees highlighting the importance of patriotism, unity and collective responsibility. Addressing the gathering, Rama Krishna reflected on the values embodied in the National Flag and urged employees to uphold them in both their personal and professional lives.
He explained that saffron represents courage and sacrifice, white stands for peace, truth and integrity, while green symbolises growth, prosperity and hope.
The event concluded with the APCOB family pledging to strengthen customer service and continue contributing to the growth of the cooperative banking sector through dedication, responsibility and teamwork.
