AP State Co-op Bank manager arrested

A branch manager of AP State Cooperative Bank was arrested when he was trying to take bribe for sanctioning loan in Gollapudi, Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, reports Indian Express.

Bank manager Thumati Chaitanya demanded a bribe of Rs 50 thousand for passing a personal laon of Rs 5 lakh to the complainant, Thota Srinivas Kumar.

Along with the bank manager another retired bank manager was also arrested for being in collusion with the culprit. The accused were produced in ACB special court which remanded them in judicial custody.
