Straightening the narrative, Amul MD Jayen Mehta said that it is not Amul vs Nandini rather its Amul & Nandini. He revealed that Amul’s ice-cream has been getting manufactured by plants owned by Nandini for the last two and a half decades.
Talking to journalists, Amul MD Jayen Mehta has said there is no issue between Amul and Karnataka’s dairy company Nandini and both have been working together for decades in the state, media reports say.
Mehta’s intervention is being seen as rejecting any idea of a confrontation between the two, something that had recently grabbed the media headlines in the state.
Mehta has added that both companies have been collaborating in fields like technology, processing and even marketing of our products.
