Speaking on a condolence motion moved in in Goa state assembly some ministers and law givers said late Manohar Parrikar was a great public figure and this was evidenced the fact that Amul featured him on its Amul Butter advertisement, Media reports say.
Goa’s cabinet minister Sardesai said Amul butter ad, has a caption reading ‘Har Goan ka Manohar’, ‘Manohar’ is one who wins over the mind. This Manohar did not just win over minds, but he won over the heart too,” the minister said.
Parrikar died on March 17 after fighting a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer.
