A delegation of National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India led by its Chairman Jethabhai Ahir met Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Lok Bhavan on Thursday. NAFED Managing Director Deepak Agarwal also accompanied the chairman during the meeting.
According to a post shared by the Governor on social media, the meeting focused on several important issues related to agriculture, cooperation and farmers’ welfare. Discussions were held on strengthening the cooperative sector and exploring measures aimed at improving agricultural marketing and farmer-centric initiatives.
The Governor described the interaction as meaningful and said the discussions covered various subjects concerning the interests of farmers and the development of the agriculture and cooperative sectors. Senior members of the NAFED delegation were also present during the meeting.
