Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets dairy products under the ‘Amul’ brand, reported an 11% revenue growth in FY 2024-25, reaching Rs 65,911 crore.

The increase was driven primarily by higher sales volumes across all product categories, media reports say quoting MD Jayen Mehta.

In FY 2023-24, GCMMF’s turnover had risen by 8% to Rs 59,259 crore. Mehta noted that the company largely maintained stable prices, except for a price hike in June 2024 due to rising input costs and a Rs 1 per litre price reduction in January 2025 to boost larger pack sales.

As the world’s largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, GCMMF serves 3.6 million farmers across Gujarat and processes 300 lakh litres of milk daily. It ranks 8th globally in milk processing and exports to 50 countries, including the US, where it recently launched fresh milk variants.
