A total of 10,548 newly appointed employees in Rajasthan received appointment letters as part of the State Employment Festival, marking a major employment push for the State’s youth. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah handed over appointment letters to five newly appointed personnel during a ceremony held alongside the inauguration and foundation stone laying of various development projects in Rajasthan.
The employment festival was presented as an important step towards creating better opportunities for young people and building an Aatmanirbhar Rajasthan. The initiative comes as the State government undertakes a broader development programme involving infrastructure, agriculture, dairy and cooperative-sector projects.
The appointment letters symbolise the formal beginning of government service for thousands of young recruits and are expected to provide greater economic security and opportunities for their families.
The programme also underlined the government’s emphasis on youth empowerment as a key component of its development strategy. Shah has repeatedly stressed that empowering youth, along with farmers, women and the poor, will be crucial to achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
