Rajasthan-based Mount Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd. (formerly Adarsh Co-operative Bank Ltd.) recently organized cyber security awareness sessions for its customers across various branches.

Managing Director Narendra Singh Dabi said the initiative aimed to educate customers about the growing risks of cyber fraud and promote safe digital banking practices.

During the sessions, customers were informed about common cyber threats such as phishing, vishing, screen-sharing scams, deepfake frauds, and SIM swapping.

Bank officials also shared practical safety tips, advising customers never to disclose their PIN or OTP to anyone, avoid sharing personal and confidential information on social media, refrain from using public Wi-Fi for financial transactions, enable transaction limits and security alerts, and download only official banking applications.

The interactive workshops also gave customers an opportunity to ask questions related to cyber security.
