R S Sodhi, MD of dairy cooperative titan GCMMF has assured people that there are enough supplies of milk and cereals in the country and there is no need to go for panic buying.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Sodhi disclosed that Amul is doing record procurement of milk in Gujarat and other parts of the country and there should be no fear of shortage.
Milk being an essential commodity, even the govt orders do not restrict us from working full time, clarified Sodhi.
Earlier, in a televised broadcast Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked people to refrain from panic buying. Modi had assured that the country has enough stock of food grains to sustain the current scenario.
