The 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Maharashtra-based Godavari Urban Cooperative Credit Society was held in Nanded, with the institution showcasing another year of strong financial performance and steady growth.
Godavari Urban crossed a significant total business milestone of Rs 5,561 crore during the financial year, while recording a net profit of Rs 29.32 crore. In recognition of its performance, the institution announced a 7% dividend for its members.
Presenting the annual report, Managing Director Dhananjay Tambekar said total deposits stood at Rs 3,079 crore, while loan disbursements reached Rs 2,481 crore, taking the institution’s overall business to Rs 5,561 crore.
President Rajashri Patil attributed the institution’s progress to financial discipline, transparent management and a strong focus on customer-oriented services. She said the institution would continue working towards strengthening its position in the cooperative sector under the guidance of Founder President and MLC Hemant Patil.
Former MLA Shankar Dhondge praised Godavari Urban’s transparent management and financial soundness, while MLAs Balaji Kalyankar and Anand Bondharkar extended their best wishes.
