The West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation Ltd. (WBLDCL) and the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI) have joined hands to strengthen livestock feed trade through the NCDFI eMarket platform.

The agreement was exchanged during Rangeelo Kashi 2026 in Varanasi in the presence of Dr. Meenesh Shah, Chairman, NCDFI and NDDB. It was signed by Dr. Utpal Kumar Karmakar, Managing Director, WBLDCL, and Dr. Srinivas Sajja, Managing Director, NCDFI.

The collaboration combines WBLDCL’s sectoral presence and understanding of West Bengal’s livestock ecosystem with the digital capabilities of the NCDFI eMarket platform.

The partnership is expected to facilitate transparent procurement and sales, competitive price discovery, wider market access and technology-enabled transactions in the livestock feed sector.

The initiative aims to improve efficiency in feed procurement and marketing while creating greater opportunities for West Bengal’s livestock sector through digital and technology-driven market linkages.

NCDFI said the collaboration reflects its continued focus on leveraging technology to strengthen cooperative and livestock-sector value chains.
