The Maharashtra Cooperation Department has added 21 new vehicles to strengthen the functioning of its regional offices and facilitate smoother field-level operations across the state.
The vehicles were formally launched at a ceremony held in Pune on Monday. The initiative is aimed at improving mobility and operational efficiency for officials working at the regional level, enabling them to undertake field visits and departmental activities more effectively.
During the ceremony, tributes were also paid to the late Ajit Pawar, remembered for his contribution to Maharashtra’s cooperative movement and public life.
The addition of the vehicles is expected to provide better logistical support to the Cooperation Department’s regional offices and help officials respond more efficiently to field requirements.
