Chhattisgarh Cabinet Minister Kedar Kashyap reviewed the functioning of cooperative banks and the progress of various schemes at a meeting held at his residence office in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar.
During the meeting, Kashyap took a detailed review of the performance of cooperative banks and various ongoing schemes, and issued necessary directions to make the banking system stronger, more efficient and effective.
He also released a publication documenting key campaigns and programmes conducted in Chhattisgarh under the ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi campaign of the Government of India. The initiatives were undertaken as part of Cooperative Week 2026 under the guidance of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
Highlighting the importance of the cooperative sector, Kashyap said that expanding cooperation is essential for building a prosperous Chhattisgarh, with stronger cooperative banking institutions playing a vital role in extending financial services and development programmes to people across the state.
