Cooperators leave for Thailand

Several cooperators from India are leaving for Thailand to attend a cooperative seminar at the invitation of Thai Govt. The programme scheduled for four day is being jointly organized by ICA A-P.

Due to his brother’s illness NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav had to cancel his trip and he has instead asked the Chief Executive N Satyanarayan to attend it. Confirming his visit Satyanarayan said “yes I am going as directed by the President.”

From IFFCO also at least three persons are visiting Thailand. They include ICA Director Aditya Yadav,Yogendra Kumar and Tarun Bhargava.

Sources said that Biscomuan Chairman Sunil Singh was also slated to represent Kribhco at the function but he withdrew as soon as he came to know that Chandra Pal is not going.

The cooperative league of Thailand and cooperative promotion department, ministry of agriculture and cooperatives, royal government of Thailand in collaboration with the International Cooperative Alliance, Asia and Pacific, are jointly organizing the Asia Pacific regional seminar.

The topic of the seminar is “COOP: Building a better world” on the occasion of centenary celebration of Thai cooperative movement and 94th international cooperative day celebration from 4-8 July in 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand.

“On behalf of the cooperative movement in Thailand and co-organizers, I would like to extend our invitation to you and other cooperators from your country to the seminar. We will appreciate if you could prepare a presentation for 10 minutes on the subject Coop: building a better world for sustainable development taking experiences from your country’, the invitation read.
