NCUI to launch co-op course in a Central University

In a bold step NCUI has signed an MoU with the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh (Haryana) to start a Certificate Course in Cooperative Management from the year 2016.

While the signatory from the NCUI is its Chief Executive Dr Dinesh, Mr R C Kuhad , VC signed on behalf of the University. According to the MoU the Central University shall conduct the certificate course in cooperative management for students on their premises.

The University of Haryana, Mahendragarh (Haryana) is a Central University offering various degrees and diploma courses to students with recognition from the University Grants Commission of India.

The duration of certificate course in cooperative management shall be one year (Two Semesters) from Jan to Dec as per the university norms covering the following course for two semesters, read the terms of MoU.

The NCUI shall provide training of Trainers (ToT) to faculty members of the Central university of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh (Haryana) through it training units. It shall design the scheme & syllabus, Methodologies etc for the course.

The apex cooperative body through its cooperative arm NCCT would also facilitate the students in undertaking the project work during the course at the cost of the university.

The students would be taken to successful cooperative societies run and managed by members and also to other cooperative organizations for undertaking the practical field visits.

The NCUI is to develop study material and provide relevant cooperative books, training manuals etc. Setting of question papers and evaluation of the examination papers would be done by the NCUI. It also proposes to help establish forming students’ cooperative on the campus.
