NCUI: Those who failed to make it

ncuiAll of us know that the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) is the apex body of cooperative movement. And this body’s strength lies in the maximum representation it can give to cooperators from variety of sectors and from the remotest parts of the nation.

The election is scheduled for 16th March. The eligible voters numbering roughly 150 are going to elect 21 directors from among themselves. What was noticeable was the absence of Sahakar Bharati representation from the list, though one its functionaries Jyotindra Mehta has made. But he has done so in a different capacity as he is the Chief of Gujarat chapter of NAFCUB.

Another important omission is that of Sukesh Zamar , MD of Buldana Urban who could make it to ICA but not to NCUI.
