NCUI: ICM Bhopal trains Bhutan Army

Junior Commissioned Officers of Royal Army of Bhutan and Royal Guard of Bhutan recently completed their 3 month training in India in the Institute of Cooperative Management, Bhopal. Vishwas Sarang, Cooperative Minister, MoS, (Independent Charge), Government of Madhya Pradesh gave away certificates to the foreign trainees.

The objective of this programme was to train these JCOs into conceptualizing and and formulating ideas of small business which can help them in income generation and employment after their retirement from the regular service of the Bhutan Army. As per the rules of Bhutan Army JCOs retire in age between 40 – 45.

Participants were also offered practical lessons on subjects like “Entrepreneurship Development”, “Project Management”, “Business Management”, “Customer Relationship Management” and “Setting up Rural Business Enterprise”

Mr Vishwash Sarang in his remarks said it is a proud moment for the state and its cooperative department that foreign nationals are being trained in cooperative training institutions in the state.
