NCUI holds co-op training for SAARC participants

NCUI the apex body of cooperatives in the country is going to hold a four day International Programme on Training Techniques for Trainers of Co-operatives and Rural Financing Institutions in the SAARC Region beginning Monday.

The training programme is being organized by Centre for International Co-operation and Training in Agricultural Banking (CICTAB) in collaboration with National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI) at the latter’s campus on August Kranti Marg in Delhi.

Prominent personalities expected to be present during the formal inauguration include Mr Balu GIyer, Regional Director, International Cooperative Alliance – Asia Pacific, Shri S.S. Yadav, Executive Director (HR) KRIBHCO and N. Satyanarayana, Chief Executive NCUI, among others.

The first Session titled “Systematic Approach to Training (S.A.T.) would be taken by Dr. Nanditesh Nilay, Management Consultant, reads a NCUI press release. Several sessions proposed to be taken during these four days include topics like “Training Techniques & methods”, “Adult Psychology, Learning Principles & Environment”, Planning and implementation of Training Programme, Evaluation of Training Programme.

Other important sessions include “Role of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for Agricultural Finance and Sustainable Rural Development sessions include “ An overview of the Indian Cooperative Movement and Activities of NCUI to be presented by Ritesh Dey from NCUI.

The programme also includes participants’ one day field visit to Agra and while returning a visit to Farmers Service Centre and e-outlet of IFFCO at Mathura.
