NCUI: GC and staff felicitate Chandra Pal

governing council meetingHe took oath in Parliament and rushed to NCUI at August Kranti Road in Delhi where a large crowd awaited him. The crowd comprised of members of the Governing Council of the apex body as well as the employees of NCUI, whose fate he has been writing for the last five years.

They were naturally excited and felt each of them have become member of Rajya Sabha. “He is there means we are there”, several of them said while falicitating the NCUI President in the conference Hall on Wednesday.

If G H Amin, the vice president of NCUI facilitated him on behalf of GC, it was Dr Dinesh, the Chief Executive who did so on half of the officers and employees. The scene was somewhat emotional as employees one after the other presented him gifts and spoke words in his praise.

The speakers included Dr Dinesh , Setia, Satya Narayan, Mohan Mishra, K N Sinha and several others. Presenting a large idol of Lord Ganesh, Dr Dinesh said in lighter vain “I want our Saheb to have stretched nose and long ears like the Ganesha so that he does not miss out to hear and smell the important things.”

It was free for all. Employees unburdened themselves and spoke whatever came to their mind. One of them said that with his elevation to Rajya Sabha “Acche din seems to have come” evoking mirth and laughter from Chandra Pal Singh whose political Party Samajwadi Party is tactically opposed to Modi’s “achche din” slogan.

Towards the close of the function, assuaging Dr Dinesh fear Chandra Pal said “those indulging in mud-slinging would be kept at arm’s length. I have never stopped any employee from meeting me in the past and so would be it in future too. I would try to prove better than your expectation”, he added in an emotionally charged atmosphere.

Earlier, he touched Shivaji Rao’s feet and thanked his colleagues which included Ashok Dabas, Mudit Veram, Sunil Singh, H K Patil and many others.
