NCCT organizes training for Karnataka officials

Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Bangalore in collaboration with National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) has organized a Five Days Training Programme on “Capacity Building through Best HR practices”.

The training programme was aimed at the officers of Public Enterprises of Government of Karnataka and was sponsored by the Department of Public Enterprises, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore. It took place from 21.10.2013 to 25.10.2013 in New Delhi at Hotel “Kempinski Ambience”.

The five days programme deliberated on issues like “Climate setting Registration Inauguration, Emotional intelligence & Stress and conflict management, Participating management – Group presentation by the participants, Counseling and mentoring, Honing of soft skills for decision making and motivation, Passion and harmony at work, Positive work attitude and culture, Team building and leadership etc. for discussion and presentation by eminent resource persons.

During the Valedictory Function on Friday the participants gave a brief report and feedback about the training programme. The valedictory address was delivered by Secretary, NCCT Shri Mohan Kumar Mishra who spoke on the topic “Growing yourself, growing others and growing together”.

Mishra He talked about growth, conscious and goal conscious approach of people and also about the importance of reflective, thinking why there is a gap which tend to increase between growers and non-growers in the long run.

The importance of learning, unlearning and re-learning and how to become peak performer in the job, skill and workplace were highlighted by him.

The valedictory function was also addressed by Smt. N. Ranjana Devi, Director, NCCT who congratulated the participants for their appreciation for the course work. The coordinator of the Programme Shri M. Krishnegowda, Faculty Member of RICM, Bangalore proposed vote of thanks.
