NCCE trains Kribhco officials on co-op principles

National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) of NCUI conducted two training Programmes on Cooperation and Cooperative Management for Officers of KRIBHCO last week at KRIBHCO Bhavan NOIDA U.P.

Sixty two participants took part in these programmes. The objective of the programmes was to equip officers with knowledge about cooperative thoughts, principles and Act & Rules so that they can manage their organizations in accordance with norms and principles of cooperation. Programmes were tailored as a training capsule for the cooperative fertilizer sector.

N.Satyanarayana, Chief Executive, NCUI inaugurated the events and said, ” Education & Training is a continuous process and a very important tool for improving participants’ capacity for better performance.” He also said ” the Cooperative Fertilizer sector is playing an important role in promoting green revolution further by providing fertiliser, pesticides and new technologies to the farmers at their door step.

The faculties of NCCE discussed topics such as Concepts, principles and values of Cooperation and their application, special features of cooperatives organizations, cooperative management with special focus on KRIBHCO, Growth and trends of Cooperative in India, Silent features of Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act 2002 focus on KRIBHCO Management, problems and difficulties before the Indian Cooperative Movement and strategies to overcome them.

On the occasion of valediction, Dr. V.K. Dubey, Director, NCCE said the knowledge gained by the participants may be utilised in their work places for better prospects. Anant Dubey, Assistant Director, NCCE coordinated the programme.
