Indian Cooperators head for Poland

poland 1A large team of cooperators belonging to various cooperative bodies across the nation have left for Poland to attend cooperative meet. The delegation is led by NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav and comprises of more than 15 members.

India has pre-existing working relation with Poland and on their invitation we are heading tonight, said one of the members of delegation to the Indian Cooperative just before he was to catch flight on Friday evening.

There are four members from the NCUI Governing Council: myself, Chandra Palji, Sivasadan Nair and Ashok Dabas, said Mukul  Verma, a GC member from UP. “I am going abroad for the first time and in fact, feel shaky in the wake of what happened to the Malasian Airline MH-17 in Ukraine recently”, said a visibly perturbed Verma.

Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Singh is also part of the team. It offers unique learning experience just to see how cooperatives operate in foreign countries, Singh said before catching international flight.

Talking of expenses Mr Mukul Verma clarified that NCUI merely offers the invitation to concerned  cooperators who foot their own bills.
