Premium collections of IFFCO-Tokio up by 12% in May 2011

IFFCO Tokio General Insurance’s premium collection rose by 12% to Rs 139.60 crore in May 2011 against Rs 124.35 crore in May 2010.

The premium collection rose by 9% to Rs 364.66 crore for the period April-March 2012 against Rs 333.37 crore for the period April-March 2011.

Moreover, the gross premium underwritten by the 15 private non-life insurers rose by 34% to Rs 1645.43 crore in May 2011.

The premium collection of 4 public players rose by 23% to Rs 2358.60 crore during May 2011.

Established in 2000, IFFCO TOKIO is non life insurance company headquartered in Gurgaon.
