IUCF Web-casting: IFFCO marks new era

IFFCO’s week long Cultural Program 9th IUCF 2015 which was inaugurated by IFFCO Chairman B S Nakai on Thursday has taken the cooperative giant a step ahead in the use of technology. IFFCO PR soon tweeted that the live webcast of the show is available—marking the arrival of a new era for cooperatives.

IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi who is shepherding the cooperative behemoth into the latest available technologies lost no time in announcing the technological marvel to the world. Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted” @IUCF2015 has grown 1 more step by use of technology. The live webcast on http://t.co/lzPNVGDYPl has brought entire #IFFCO Family together.”

A live webcast is a media presentation distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology to distribute a single content source to many simultaneous listeners and viewers. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet.
