IFFCO’s cashless campaign intensifies

Even as Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh was addressing the seminar organized by IFFCO on “Cashless Transaction” in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi was busy teaching how to go cashless to the farmers of Dholpur and Gwalior cities of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

In his tweet, Minister wrote “Participated in the programme organized by IFFCO on Cashless Transaction system in Rural Areas in Faridnagar, Ghaziabad”.

Elevating cashless campaign to the lofty plank of his Kisan Yatra, IFFCO MD expounds at length the long term benefits of doing cashless transaction. “It will stop the pilferage and allow the farmers to have his money without any hitch, he said.

Awasthi also inaugurated a IFFCO Bazar Centre in Dholpur, Rajasthan and said with the help of this Kendra farmers could buy seeds, manure, fertilizer, and others facilities under one roof and it is a big move in helping the farmers of the country.

MD welcomed cooperators of Gwalior with bouquets and Shawls.

“Now farmers can buy seeds, fertilizer, manure and others under one roof through the IFFCO Kisan Bazar Centre. It is small initiative in the interest of farmers”, wrote Awasthi on his twitter wall.

In the beginning of his tour, he inaugurated the Cooperative Exhibition organized by IFFCO subsidiaries in Gwalior. In another tweet Awasthi wrote “On the occasion of IFFCO Golden Jubilee met farmers and interacted with cooperators of Gwalior”.
