IFFCO: Yogendra bags FAI award for an article on Nano

IFFCO Marketing Head Yogendra Kumar is all set to bag the Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) first prize for an article on Nano Fertilisers published in the August, 2020 issue of Indian Journal of Fertilisers for the year 2019-20. Said to be the future of fertilizer industry, Nano is close to IFFCO’s heart.

FAI Annual awards in FAI’s Annual Seminar 2020 to be held from 7-9 December 2020 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The FAI Annual Seminar this year is likely to have a small number of participants as it will be a covid compliant event. The theme of this year’s seminar is “Fertilizer and Agriculture during COVID-19’.

According to the information made available to us- both the co-op giants IFFCO and Kribhco have bagged several awards with the highest number being grabbed by the IFFCO. While several units of IFFCO have won awards in different categories, Kribhco has annexed laurels in the field of film production.

The function will be streamed live. All the presentations will be made electronically and only registered delegates will be able to participate. The exhibitors to be organized on the occasion will enable the participants to showcase their products and services through the virtual platform.

IFFCO’s Kandla Unit will receive the FAI Environmental Protection Award in NP/NPK Fertiliser Plants without captive acid category for the year 2019-20. Odisha based IFFCO Paradeep unit is reported to be a runner up for the FAI Excellence in Safety Award for the year 2019-20.

IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi tweeted to each of them congratulating them on their sterling performances. To the Paradeep Unit he tweeted, “Heartiest Congratulations to #IFFCO #Paradeep Unit @kjpatelparadeep & team for winning runner up #FAI Excellence in Safety Award for the year 2019-20. For Kandla Unit he wrote, “Heartiest Congratulations to #IFFCO #Kandla Unit @opdayama & team for winning #FAI Environmental Protection Award in NP/NPK Fertiliser Plants without captive acid category for the year 2019-20. Good work @bs2709. Best wishes to everyone. #FAIAward @faidelhi.

According to the top officials of Kribhco, KRIBHCO will collect “the Best Video Film” award for the year 2020. The fertiliser cooperative had won FAI’s Best Video Film Award also on earlier occasions.

The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) is a non-profit and non-trading company representing mainly fertiliser manufacturers, distributors, importers, equipment manufacturers, research institutes and suppliers of inputs. The Association was established in 1955 with the objective of bringing together all those concerned with production, marketing and use of fertilizers.
