Several units and subsidiaries of the largest fertilizer cooperative IFFCO have bagged FAI awards in independent categories bringing cheers to the employees of the cooperative giant.
Arbinda Roy the Marketing Director at IFFCO has bagged Shriram Award in Marketing leading the MD Dr U S Awasthi to tweet” Congrats #ArbindaRoy @Arabinda50 4 winning #ShriramAward in Marketing #FAIAward 4 article “Direct Fertiliser Subsidy 2 Farmers” for 2014-15.”
IFFCO Kandla has won Award for the Best Technical Innovation in fertiliser production technology for 2014-15. IFFCO Paradeep for the fourth time in a line has won FAI Environmental Protection Award in NP/NPK fertiliser plants with captive acids category.
IFFCO Phulpur team won FAI Award for Excellence in Safety for 2014-15. IFFCO Phulpur and Aonla were declared joint winners of FAI Environmental Protection Award in Nitrogenous fertiliser plants category for 2014-15.
IFFCO Aonla has also been adjudged Joint Runner-Up FAI Award for Excellence in Safety.
A jubilant MD Dr. U S Awasthi congratulated his winning units . Resorting to social media he expressed satisfaction and showered praise on the victorious teams. He tweeted” Congrats #IFFCO Kandla 4 winning #FAIAward 4 Best Technical Innovation in fertiliser production technology for year 2014-15. In the next tweet he said “ Congrats #IFFCO Phulpur & Aonla 4 Joint winners of #FAI EnvironmentalProtection Award in Nitrogenous fertiliser plants category for 2014-15.
Similarly he congratulated other teams as well. The concerned unit heads and related officers thanked the MD profusely for his constant encouragement as expressed by A K PANDA who tweeted “ @drusawasthi many many thanks for your encouragement.
The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) is a non-profit and non-trading company representing mainly the fertiliser manufacturers, distributors, importers, equipment manufacturers, research institutes and suppliers of inputs. The Association was established in 1955 with the objective of bringing together all those concerned with production, marketing and use of fertilizers.
