In course of undertaking his sixth Sahakarita Kisan Yatra to the lake city of Bhopal IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi met MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and discussed issues relating to farmers and development of the cooperative sector in the state.
Readers would recall that Awasthi was on Sahakarita Kisan Yatra as promised by him on the occasion of IFFCO’S Golden Jubilee to undertake 110 such yatras across the country dedicated to farmers.
MD sounded euphoric when he shared details of his visit on social media and wrote “Today met with Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal. Discussion held on Cooperative development and farmers.
Giving importance to the meeting the office of Chief Minister also tweeted about the meeting with IFFCO MD and 
Explaining the details of his visit to MP, he posted several photographs like inauguration of Cooperative Exhibition, hoisting of cooperative flag and other events on social media.
A large number of women playing important role in promoting Cooperative and agriculture also took part in the meeting. MD’s tweet read“Huge number of youth, women and cooperators came here. They contributed greatly in promoting agriculture and cooperatives”.
Readers would recall that earlier he visited Kalol, Mehsana and Vodara cities of Gujarat and Raipur, Bilaspur cities of Chhattisgarh.
Several employees of IFFCO Including Yogendra Kumar, IFFCO-Tokio MD Yogesh Lohiya and several others accompanied him.
