IFFCO: JIFCO clocks day’s highest production

JIFCO-1IFFCO’s Jordon venture “JIFCO Phosphoric acid project” achieved highest production last week making a jubilant Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi announce the same to the world through social media.

The MD tweeted “ Great news from #JIFCO it has produced 1560 the highest ever. Would like to congratulate entire team for splendid performance.”

A number of followers of the MD and people connected with IFFCO expressed happiness. One of the them Mr Jitender Mishra tweeted that it will ensure full utilization of Kandla and Paradeep and in turn reduce import of prophetic products.

One Nakul Pathak from Kalol unit tweeted that we all at Kalol Unit are so happy to learn that our JIFCO Joint Venture has produced highest day production.

Readers would recall that last month on December one, cooperative giant IFFCO’s mega project in Jordan had gone operational bringing smiles on the face of those connected with the project.

IFFCO and Jordan Phosphates Mines Company Ltd (JPMC) had formed a limited liability Joint Venture Company namely Jordan India Fertilizer Company (JIFCO) in 2008 in Amman. The project is worth $860 million.

The partner of IFFCO Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) owns and operates a large number of phosphate mines in Jordan. Dr Awasthi was present in Jordan when the project was successful commissioned last month.
