IFFCO holds virtual board meeting; postpones AGM due to Corona

Unfazed by the outbreak of coronavirus, the fertilizer cooperative giant IFFCO organized its board meeting through video conferencing on Friday, which was attended by almost all the directors of the fertilizer company.

The board decided to postpone IFFCO’s Annual General Meeting, which was scheduled to take place on 29th May. And the new date for the AGM will be decided in course of time, said an official.

The smoothness of video-conference was possible due to the efficient IT team of IFFCO which is led by A K Gupta and who has, in the past, won many international awards for its IT cell, said an insider.

The IFFCO management and directors deliberated on several important issues and reviewed the activities being undertaken by the fertilizer cooperative in the current situation to help the government fight against the coronavirus.
