IFFCO: Delegates thank Awasthi for “Cooker to Gold coin” jump

Delegates after delegates thanked the IFFCO MD for making a remarkable difference in the affairs of co-op titan and most of what they talked about related to gold coins.

There is a logic behind this gold coin as envisioned by Dr. Awasthi. Each farmer requires at least about 25 gram of gold in marrying off their daughters. Delegates are elected for a period of five years. Awasthi insists that in their five years of association with the IFFCO, farmers should get five grams of pure gold each year. It adds up to 25 grams in a period of five years and would be a big help to farmers.

It’s great riddance from pieces of shirt pants or transistors, given to us earlier, said several delegates. Sahakar Bandhu awardee Bharat Tripathy was the first to mention this and soon a barrage of utterances on the issue began to come out.

Several other delegates also echoed Tripathy’s words and said that IFFCO has undergone transformation ever since Awasthi joined as the MD.

Pushpa Nahatta, a woman RGB member from Rajasthan said that the manner in which delegates are treated by the IFFCO management, could be a lesson for people in etiquette and manners. Thanking the IFFCO Board for encouraging women’s participation in its activities, she wished it all the success.

Ankit Parihar from Unnao in UP also made an energetic speech and said that those present today would be remembered by history for having seen the growth of Nano Urea in their lifetimes. He also advocated Padmasri for the IFFCO MD and said when the Lijjat Papad sister can get it why not Awasthi.

Another delegate Mahesh Kumar Pandey from Jalaun wanted Nano penetration not only at the block level but also at the mandi level.

The Sahakarita Bandhu Awardee Bharat Tripathy also felt that the duo of two, Dileep Sanghani and Dr U S Awasthi will take IFFCO to greater heights.
