IFFCO celebrates 56th Foundation Day; MoS greets on the occasion

IFFCO celebrated its 56th Foundation Day on 3rd November 2023 and reiterated its commitment to serving Indian farmers in all possible ways.

From Union Minister of State for Cooperation BL Verma to IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi and other senior employees of IFFCO greeted everyone on this occasion of the foundation day.

Verma wrote, “World’s top cooperative organization IFFCO, Congratulations and hearty best wishes on the 56th Foundation Day. With “Atmanirbhar Bharat – Empowered Farmers”, IFFCO is providing its services to more than 5.5Cr farmers of the country with the help of more than 36 thousand cooperative societies”.

Extending greetings, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote, “Best wishes to all of you on the 56th foundation day of IFFCO, the world’s largest and top cooperative organization dedicated to farmers and cooperation. Many congratulations to the members of the IFFCO family, all the cooperatives and farmers”.

“Similarly, IFFCO will continue to engage itself in serving the farmers. We will continue to establish new dimensions every day. The aim of IFFCO is to serve the farmers. In the new era, IFFCO’s Nano fertilizers like IFFCO Nano Urea and IFFCO Nano DAP are a new era initiative in the agriculture sector. Let us all come together to fulfill the dream of Honorable Prime Minister Shri@narendramodi of Prosperity through co-operation”, Awasthi wrote on ‘X’.

Over the last 55 years, IFFCO has evolved into an ecosystem comprising products, services and support systems that ensure fairness, transparency and sustainable practices.

Standing as the world’s largest fertilizer cooperative today, it was on November 3 in 1967 when IFFCO was founded to help farmers with the production of quality fertilizers. The number of cooperative societies associated with the IFFCO has risen from 57 in 1967 to more than 40,000.
