IFFCO bags top awards at PR conference in Visakhapatnam

IFFCO has received the 39th Public Relations Society of India Award 2017 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh last week. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, State Minister of HRD gave away the award in the presence of Dr Ajit Pathak, National President, PRSI.

IFFCO received two awards one in the category of Annual Accounts/Report, the other for IFFCO Coffee Table Book which was unveiled during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the fertilizer cooperative at its Kalol, unit in Gujarat. This award belonged to the category of Best Special Publication Prize by PRSI.

An enthusiastic IFFCO Public Relations head Harshendra Singh Verdhan shared the information through social media and wrote “Glad to share that IFFCO won 2 awards by Public Relations Society of India; one of the oldest Public Relations Associations of India.

“IFFCO’s Annual Report” got the prize in Annual Accounts/Report Category.“IFFCO Coffee Table Book” got the Best Special Publication Prize. All Credit goes to the team specially Ankur Awasthy for Coffee Table Book”, according to his social media post.

On behalf of IFFCO, the award was received by Harshendra Singh Verdhan, IFFCO’s PR head.

Chief executive Officers and media agencies of various communication houses attended the conference and spoke about various issues in the public relations.

The theme of the conference was ‘Emerging India: Smart Cities – Smart Communication’.

A humbled Harsh thanked his well-wishers on his FB wall as scores of IFFCO employees shared the news through social media.
