Gujarat govt bestows award on IFFCO

As the year to coming to an end, the largest farmers cooperative IFFCO seems determined to win as many awards as possible. After FAI and PRSI, it is the Gujarat govt Shram Vir and Sharam Bhushan award that its Kandla unit has won.

Taking to Twitter Dr U S Awasthi announced to the followers “ Congratulations to #IFFCO Kandla for winning #Shram vir Parashar and #Shram Bhushan Purushkar of #Gujarat Govt.@mrpatel1954 to receive award.”

N P Patel is one of the Directors of IFFCO who is lives in Gujarat. Shram Bhushan is awarded to workers who have made exceptional contribution in productivity /production and have also shown innovative abilities of high order. The state govt gives a cheque of Rs 44,000.

Shram Vir award is given to workers who have a continuous record of dedicated services and high order of productivity. In this a cheque of Rs 24,000 is given to the recipient.

Earlier, IFFCO bagged more than 10 awards by the Fertiliser Association of India in a function in N Delhi. And soon after its PR unit bagged the prestigious Public Relation award in a function by PRSI in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
