GUJCOMASOL adds new dimension; launches Integrated Logistic Park

Adding to a new and innovative dimension to state marketing cooperative federation GUJCOMASOL, Gujarat former Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel laid the Bhoomi Pujan of a new ‘Integrated Logistic Park’ on Monday at Mehsana.

It was done in the presence of Gujcomasol Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani, Vice-Chairman Bipin Patel, Mehsana MP, Shardaben Patel, and other eminent dignitaries.

The ‘Integrated Logistic Park’ will provide various facilities to the local farmers of Mehsana, and 4 lakh farmers will benefit from this. It is to be built on an area of 10 acres, and the project will be completed within one year. The total cost incurred in making the park will be around Rs. 65 crore.

Soon after the Bhoomi Pujan, speaking to Indian Cooperative, Gujcomasol Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani said, “The integrated logistic park will be equipped with all modern facilities and will include cold storage with a 5000 MT capacity, six modern warehouses, a fresh fruits and vegetables packaging house, and others.”

“It will help thousands of farmers and the members associated with Gujcomasol can take the lead. The park will also fulfill the vision of our Prime Minister of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’,” said Sanghani to this correspondent over the phone.

Additionally, Sanghani stated, “The Agri Produce like fruits, vegetables, and spices will be processed, packaged, and labelled in this park and will be sold under the Gujco Brand to citizens across India.”

Lauding the efforts of Gujcomasol, Nitin Patel said that the park will definitely help the farmers of our district and enable them to get a good return on their produce.

In his address, Gujcomasol Vice-Chairman highlighted the activities of Gujcomasol and underlined its activities being undertaken in the interest of farmers.

It is to be mentioned here that for the past few years, Gujcomasol has been in the media headlines for all positive reasons. Its turnover has crossed more than Rs. 4700 crore in the 2022-23 fiscal year and earned a net profit of Rs. 7.22 crore.
