Replying to a query from the Regional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Employee Provident Fund Organization on disbursement of EPF of Adarsh society employee, Shri Patel, through a letter says “Since there is no actual functioning of office all this HR / EPF related record is with the IT system, so it is not possible to respond to your query of respective employees.”

Excerpts of the letter follows:

Sub – Issues related to disbursement of EPF of Adarsh Credit Society employee

Sir,

Please refer to your Letter No. RJ / Jodh / L-S-002 / 10620 / 30 dated 30/5/2020 regarding the complaint in disbursement of EPF of Adarsh Credit Society employee. In this regard it is stated that this society is placed under Liquidation by the central registrar of co-op societies Govt of India and since then, there is no business transaction with respect to ACCSL and at present there is no actual functioning of office and all this HR / EPF related record is with the IT system and at present the whole system is not operational, so it is not possible to respond to your query of respective employees.

But as a part of disbursement, since the whole procedure is online with EPF authorities and as per the guidelines, EPF can be disbursed on the basis of employees application I am also getting a number of complaints about authentic EPF record to authorities, but during their service some of the employees did not comply with the KYC norms but in the present situation, as regards the change of name or discrepancy in name or father’s name, all this can be verified by relevant documents like school leaving documents , Aadhar, Voter Certificate etc to ascertain the correctness of applicant’s genuineness, secondly notarised affidavit can be obtained from respective employees and it can be considered for disbursing the EPF based on his undertaking. So as to resolve the issue.

In view of the above, it is requested to take appropriate decisions in the absence of a non-functioning office and a computerised system of ACCSL.

This letter is issued so as to redress the complaint in disbursement of EPF to ACCSL employees.

Thanking you

Yours Faithfully,

H. S. Patel IAS (Retd.)

Liquidator
