The National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB) has announced the rescheduling of its flagship event, the International Conference of Urban Cooperative Credit Sector-“Coop Kumbh 2025.”
Originally slated for November 8–9, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, the conference will now take place on November 10–11, 2025. This change was communicated by NAFCUB President Laxmi Dass, who cited unavoidable administrative reasons related to the venue and VIP protocol requirements as the cause for the adjustment.
The conference’s theme, “Digitalising Dreams – Empowering Communities,” underscores the pivotal role of digital transformation in advancing financial inclusion and community development. This theme aligns with the United Nations’ declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives, emphasizing the global importance of cooperative movements in fostering sustainable economic growth.
NAFCUB has extended its sincere apologies for any inconvenience the rescheduling may cause to participants concerning travel or accommodation plans. The organization assures that the revised dates aim to facilitate a smoother, more dignified, and well-coordinated conduct of the conference. The Federation has expressed its appreciation for the delegates’ continued support and cooperation and looks forward to their gracious presence at the rescheduled event.
The conference is expected to feature over 1,500 attendees, including more than 40 speakers and 38 exhibition stalls. Discussions will encompass various topics such as corporate governance, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and the roles of women and youth in cooperative banking.
Presentations by senior officers from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), NABARD, and SEBI will provide insights into policy shifts, risk management strategies, and compliance frameworks crucial for the sustainable growth of urban cooperative banks.
The event will also showcase innovations from top FinTech companies, banking software providers, and digital payment solution providers, highlighting the sector’s role in promoting financial inclusion and rural empowerment.
NAFCUB’s initiative underscores the importance of collaboration and innovation in the cooperative banking sector, aiming to redefine the future of cooperative credit societies in India and beyond. The event is poised to be a landmark occasion, setting the stage for strategic partnerships and policy advancements that will shape the cooperative movement for years to come.
