Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), R S Sodhi has bagged the QIMPRO gold standard award 2013 (Business) for implementing world-class quality practices in brand ‘Amul’ and achieving outstanding performance results.
QIMPRO gold standard award is one of the most prestigious quality awards in India.
Sodhi received this award in a ceremony held in Mumbai.
Recognised as the country’s premier quality citations, QIMPRO Awards was conceptualised in 1989 by Dr J M Juran, the Quality Guru, to recognise individual excellence in quality management.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative Sodhi said that the award belongs to the dairy farmers whose undying effort to maintain the quality has created a mega brand image for the brand AMUL. I humbly dedicate this to them to whom it belongs, he added.
