Beleaguered Vipul Chaudhary Chairman of the cooperative giant and owner of the country’s popular milk brand Amul Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has once again gone to the Gujarat High Court.
He has petitioned for a stay order on a board meeting to be convened to discuss development-related issues.
The court has granted him a stay. Earlier, Mr Chaudhary had petitioned the High Court asking for a stay on a board meeting seeking a no -confidence motion against him.
The court has lumped together both his petitions for hearing in the next days. The board of the GCMMF seems bent on having a confrontation with Chaudhary who also happens to be the head of Mehsana district cooperative milk producers’ union aka Dudhsagar Dairy.
