I have a query regarding bye laws of societies. My share certificate has been disfigured. I had kept the same in a plastic folder, and the ink stuck on the plastic folder and it has been partially disfigured.
What does the law state and how do i put up the same in the society?
I am willing to surrender the same and get a new issued by the society. Also am willing to pay the charges if any for the same.

You submit it to the Society with a written request to issue a Duplicate.
