We have Co-operative Hsg. society in Mumbai. We had elected our Managing committee on 11th April 2011. After about 4 years many committee members left MC. New care taker MC was formed on 11th Feb 2015 for remaining tenure. Now tenure of care taker MC has expired, no new election is conducted, as care taker MC has not applied for election process within stipulated time of 6 months.Can care taker MC continue to work legally? What steps Sub registrar office has to take?

Submit E2 form as prescribed under New Election Rules. Wait for response to that. Make sure you take acknowledgement.

Do not worry about the delay. Care taker Committee is a fullfledged Committe. So do not worry at all.
